The audio launch of ‘Kattradhu Kalavu’, a film starring Krishna (of ‘Alibaba’ fame) and Vijayalakshmi in lead roles, will be held in Chennai today. Directed by Balaji, the movie has musical score by Paul J.

Talking about ‘Kattradhu Kalavu’, Krishna, the younger brother of director Vishnuvardhan says, “I play a Krishnakumar, a conman. I wanted to do the stunt sequences myself. After adequate safety measures, I managed to do them myself. They have come out well. Songs by Paul J are interesting”.

‘Kattradhu Kalavu’ is an entertaining film. It has action, thrills and lots of humour, says Balaji. Produced by ‘Pattiyal’ Sekar (Krishna’s father) and Chehak Kapoor for Talking Times Movies Pvt Ltd, the major portion of the movie was shot in Kashmir.

Says Balaji: “It is the story of a daredevil youth. It is a Robinhood-kind of a movie. Krishna has handled the role with maturity. Vijayalakshmi combines both performance and glamour well.”

On her part, the ‘Chennai 600028’ girl says, “I wanted to become an airhostess in my school days. And now, I am playing one in the movie. I am happy that I am playing an air hostess in 'Kattradhu Kalavu', since I wanted to pursue the career in my real life. My role in the movie is so strong.”
